These reports summarise the major pension groups by rate of payment, state of residence, sex, age and conflict in which the veteran first served.
As of September 2013, changes have been made as to how Disability Compensation Payment recipients, War Widow(er)s and Orphans are counted in this publication. Because of these changes, figures by conflict from September 2013 onwards are not comparable with earlier reports. For more information, see the notes page within the report.

These statistics report on the Department's treatment card population by eligibility, card type, state, sex, age and conflict in which the veteran first served.
The treatment population consists of veterans and dependants entitled to treatment at departmental expense and who have been issued a DVA Gold or White card under the:
- Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 (VEA)
- Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 (MRCA) (card holders only)
- Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related Claims) Act 1988 (DRCA)
- Australian Participants in British Nuclear Tests and British Commonwealth Occupation Force (Treatment) Act 2006 and
- Treatment Benefits (Special Access) Act 2019
As of September 2013, changes have been made as to how card holders are counted by conflict (table 6 of this report). Because of these changes, figures by conflict from September 2013 onwards are not comparable with earlier reports. For more information, see the notes page within the report.

These statistics report the top-20 accepted VEA and MRCA conditions as coded by the Statements of Principles for the following conflicts:
- Afghanistan
- Iraq
- East Timor (Timor Leste)
- Solomon Islands
- Vietnam

The Executive Summary of DVA Beneficiaries contains 10 yearly National and State/Territory forecasts for all pensions, card holders and miscellaneous benefits entitled under the VEA, MRCA & DRCA. These forecasts can be broken down further into age, gender and other categories upon making request to the DVA Data & Insights Branch.
Frequency: Half yearly (based on December and June population figures)

The DVA Stats at a Glance card is a summary card produced twice a year which includes high-level information about DVA's clients, pension rates and Departmental expenditure.
As of March 2014, changes have been made to how clients are counted in this publication. Because of these changes, figures for MRCA and DRCA are not comparable with earlier reports.

These reports summarise the numbers of DVA pensioners and treatment card holders in each of Australia’s local government areas by State and Territory. The reports are derived by geocoding beneficiaries to local government area boundaries – that is, determining their exact geographical location.
Note:
- Individuals who could not be geocoded to a specific local government area within a State or Territory are reported as an unincorporated group – for example, ‘Unincorporated NSW.’
- Those who could not be geocoded to a specific State or Territory, or who live overseas, are not reported.
- The reports have been modified to reduce the chances of individual clients being identified.
