Terms and Conditions of Entitlement Self Assessment


Entitlement Self Assessment comprises a series of questions to help existing and prospective DVA clients to assess potential entitlements.

It may be completed by:

  • A member or former member of the Australian Defence Force including Reserves and Cadets; or
  • A Commonwealth or allied veteran including eligible civilians and peacekeepers; or
  • A former Australian or allied mariner; or
  • A dependant (including partner / spouse or child) of the persons above.



How long will it take to complete?

The assessment can take between 10 to 20 minutes to complete depending on your specific circumstances.

What will you need?

Where applicable, you may be asked questions relating to service, dependent family members and any current benefits you may be recieving. It is good to have this information close by before you start.
