Update to Notes for Allied Health Providers and Notes for General Practitioners

DVA has made minor administrative updates to the following Provider Notes:

• Notes for Allied Health Providers (Section One – General)
• Notes for Allied Health Providers (Section 2(f) – Exercise Physiologists)
• Notes for General Practitioners

These updates include amendment of incorrect clause references, updated hyperlinks, and the removal of outdated terminology to improve overall document clarity.

Importantly, there are no changes to the existing rules or regulations governing provider services.

What providers need to know:

The updates are administrative only and do not affect how providers deliver services or comply with existing requirements.

Providers are encouraged to review the updated notes for awareness.

General practitioners and allied health providers who provide and claim for treatments to DVA clients have an obligation to understand and comply with DVA Provider Notes.
