Child Safe Framework

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people involved in our activities and programs.

The DVA Child Safe Framework establishes the department’s expectations of all staff, contractors and providers to ensure a safe environment for children and sets out our approach to managing risk to children and young people.

The Framework has been developed to give effect to the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. The Framework gives guidance on the roles, processes and procedures that aim to provide children’s safety and wellbeing across all areas of the department’s work.
