Keep connected during Veterans’ Health Week
Veterans’ Health Week is happening soon! From 13–20 October you can get involved in some exciting events near you.
There are over 750 events already registered across the country, so there is bound to be something for everyone to enjoy.
You can attend as many events as you like and it’s free to take part.
Veterans’ Health Week is an annual DVA initiative that aims to promote health and wellbeing in the everyday lives of veterans and their families and address common health issues faced by veterans.
This year’s theme is Keep Connected, highlighting the importance of staying socially connected to family, friends and peers.
Social connectedness can have a positive impact on mental health, and lead to a longer life, better overall health, and improved wellbeing.
