Announcement of organisation to develop Southeast Queensland Veterans’ and Families’ Hub

Lives Lived Well has been announced as the lead organisation to develop the Southeast Queensland Veterans’ and Families' Hub. The hub will support veterans and families living in a region with the largest population of current and former serving members in the nation.

Lives Lived Well have delivered localised health and wellbeing support in Queensland and New South Wales for over 40 years. They have extensive experience working with individuals and families seeking physical and mental health services and support with social connections.

The Hub is to be established in Caboolture, with services and support to be coordinated and provided to veterans and families across Southeast Queensland.

Veterans’ and Families’ Hubs offer a one-stop shop for local veteran services, including health and mental health services, wellbeing support, advocacy, employment and housing advice, and social connection specific to their local communities.

They provide a space for veterans’ services and advocacy organisations to co-locate and provide holistic wrap-around support to current and ex service personnel and their families. 

All current serving Australian Defence Force members, veterans and families can access services at any Veterans’ and Families’ Hub in Australia, including those already established in Adelaide, Darwin, Perth, Townsville, Nowra, and Wodonga.
