Coronavirus Supplement

In addition to those receiving Services Australia payments, students who receive Veterans’ Children Education Scheme and MRCA Education and Training Scheme payments at similar rates to Youth Allowance will also receive the Coronavirus Supplement.  This includes students aged 16 years and over, those living away from home, and those on the homeless and double orphan rates of payment.  

There is no need to make an application.  The Coronavirus Supplement will be automatically added to eligible students’ regular payments from May 2020.
