Defence Service Homes testing new website

The website is accessible on all devices and has been designed to better meet the needs of policyholders and clients through improved navigation and functionality, a more contemporary look and feel, and updated content covering both DSH Insurance and DSH Lending.

In line with the Government’s commitment to prioritising the needs of Australian Defence Force (ADF) members, veterans and their families, the website’s new design, functionality and structure helps ADF members and veterans gain access to information on the products and services available through DSH.

The new website also supports the expansion of DSH Insurance’s eligibility criteria for home building insurance to more than 300,000 additional ADF members and veterans including reservists and widow/ers.

ADF members, veterans and their families are invited to access the redesigned site at https://beta.dsh.gov.au, with users encouraged to provide feedback on the overall design and usability of the site, as well as content.

Benefits include cover for flood and accidental damage, no excess (other than for earthquake damage and some accidental damage) and flexible payment options. DSH Insurance insures anywhere in Australia and can also provide access to a range of other insurance products including contents, landlord and car insurance.
