News from the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum
The Australian National Veterans Arts Museum (ANVAM) was established in 2013 in response to the growing need for an innovative model of care in veterans’ wellbeing.
As a veteran-led charity, ANVAM supports the mental, physical and social wellbeing of current and former service members and families through community-based facilitated arts engagements.
Rock4RnR
The fifth annual Veteran Arts Exhibition program kicks off with a veteran-led live music and arts event, Rock4RnR at the Shrine of Remembrance.
Rock4RnR is a free, veteran and community event with the aim of reflection, remembrance and re-connection, and is proudly supported by Open Arms – Veterans & Families Counselling, RSL Victoria and veteran-owned businesses.
Join us for March to Art on Sunday 13 March at Rock4RnR (Rock for Reflection and Remembrance). A free, family and community event at the Shrine of Remembrance 2pm–8pm.
Live music, food vans and free family activities including face painting. View veteran artwork and enjoy performances by the @rock4rnr veteran-led collective. Music from 2pm to 8pm.
March to Art: Voice
March to Art : Voice highlights new and innovative veteran arts projects from across the veteran community. Through the use of various creative mediums, Voice aims to elevate, affirm and contribute lived-experience perspectives and storytelling to the collective understanding of the veteran arts community. All are welcome.
