Our Carer Awareness Training is a course aimed at increasing your understanding of carers, their issues and needs.

Learning outcomes

We developed this training with Carers Victoria with the aim of helping health professionals to recognise and support the role that carers play in veteran health care. 

The Carer Awareness Training covers:

• carers, their issues and needs
• the Carer Recognition Act 2010 (the Act)
• compliance with the Act
