Consultation arrangements

Last updated:

From 1 May 2011, agencies are required by the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) to publish information whenever an agency administers or establishes a public consultation arrangement in the course of developing a specific policy proposal. Agencies are required to notify each such consultation arrangement under the IPS, in particular by providing details of how and to whom a comment may be submitted by members of the public.
