Your personal information is protected by law, including the Privacy Act 1988. Your personal information may be collected by the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) for employment and payroll purposes.

Your personal details will be recorded securely and the Department will not release any information about the identity of individuals referring allegations for investigation.

The Department takes all tip-offs of fraud seriously and your assistance in upholding the integrity of the Repatriation system is invaluable.  Please note that due to restrictions under the Privacy Act 1988, the department is unable to provide further comment or updates regarding the outcome of your tip-off. The department may contact you if we require more information. 

You are under no obligation to provide personal details when providing information. However, if you provide your name and contact number, it will allow us to contact you for more information if required. 

If you choose to remain anonymous, we would appreciate you providing as much information as you can. We will not be able to contact you if we require more information.
