DVA’s new Compensation Quick Tips for health providers

DVA’s new Compensation Quick Tips will make it easier for health providers to help us ensure veterans are appropriately compensated for injuries or illnesses resulting from their service in the defence forces.

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) is excited to release our new Compensation Quick Tips for health providers.

Health providers have a key role in helping us ensure veterans are appropriately compensated for injuries or illnesses they incurred as a result of their service in the defence forces.

We know that DVA’s Compensation Claim process can be tricky to navigate, has different requirements to other schemes, and that you are busy.

These new printable, one or two page guides, will make it easier for GPs, Psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to understand the requirements when asked to provide information in relation to a veterans’ compensation claim.
