National Consultation Framework Review

Last updated:

The National Consultation Framework (NCF) facilitates engagement between the veteran community, the Repatriation and Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Commissions, and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). The current NCF is being reviewed to ensure it continues to best serve the interests of the Australian veteran community.

DVA invites you to participate in the review through an online survey where veterans, their families and Veteran Service Organisations can provide feedback on the effectiveness and relevancy of the NCF. Survey participants can also submit recommendations that could enhance inclusiveness and represent the contemporary veteran community.

DVA continues significant reforms to ensure current and ex-serving personnel, and their families can access the services they need, when they need them. Your views through this survey are important as they will inform future iterations of the NCF (i.e. the model of engagement with the veteran community).

Information on DVA programs and services can be found on the DVA website.

Information on free and confidential counselling and support for current and ex-serving personnel and their families can be found on the Open Arms website.
