These resources form only part of the research that has gone in to guiding the DVA Lived Experience Framework and related work, and DVA does not necessarily endorse these resources or advise that they are applicable to your work. LEWP Peer Supervision Training (SA) | LEWP offers a free, two-day training program for experienced people in designated Lived Experience roles in the SA NGO sector, who wish to become Peer supervisors within their organisation. This training is free for non-NGOs but can be approached for Government training opportunities. |
QLD Centre for Mental Health Learning Supervisior Training (QLD) | This two-day workshop will prepare you for your supervisor role. It is designed for staff from all disciplines including non-clinical areas such as the peer workforce. During this workshop you will explore ways to enhance your supervisor skills using a variety of strategies and tools. Several high-quality skills demonstration videos are shown that model the core elements of good supervision practice. As you deepen your understanding of these elements you will have opportunities to practise delivering supervision that is culturally sensitive. |
