Australian War Widows webinar for International Women’s Day

A message from Australian War Widows NSW (AWWNSW)

In celebration of the women in our community, AWWNSW will deliver an exclusive webinar ahead of International Women’s Day.

‘How can we inspire inclusion’ will cover the subject of inclusion for women, noting we often hear about women becoming more invisible as they age, especially in sectors that are traditionally male-dominated – sectors that would benefit from their inclusion.

This webinar will deliver an educated conversation around inclusion and will cover:

  • the impact of ageism and how it affects women of every age
  • the importance and benefits of intra-generational connections and inclusion
  • the barriers to this
  • how a village of support can be built with a variety of people, of various age and backgrounds.
