Feedback from Coordinated Veterans’ Care survey
If you have a Coordinated Veterans’ Care (CVC) comprehensive care plan with your usual GP, you may recall participating in a survey in late 2023 about your experiences and views of the CVC program.
Following rigorous analysis and review by Roy Morgan Research, DVA now has a report on the survey’s findings.
The report reveals a high level of overall satisfaction with the program, with many participants providing feedback that details the positive impact CVC has on their health and wellbeing.
Factors cited by participants as contributing to a positive experience include satisfaction with their nurse coordinator, the management of their health conditions, and the ability to access their individual comprehensive care plan.
Please ask your GP if you don’t have a copy of your CVC comprehensive care plan. It is important to ensure all of your health management and goal information is accurate. If your GP is unable to provide it to you, please let DVA know by calling 1800 VETERAN (1800 838 372) or by submitting a general enquiry.
DVA conducts participant feedback surveys to identify ways to improve the CVC program and we thank all participants who shared their experiences. The feedback from the survey will be used to ensure the Department continues to offer a high quality program to the veteran community.
CVC is a program that eligible clients can access through their usual GP. The GP works with the participant to develop a comprehensive care plan to meet health needs, support health goals, provide education and manage ongoing care. CVC is usually undertaken as a face-to-face consultation rather than through telehealth.
