RAAF celebrates its centenary
On 31 March, the Royal Australian Air Force marked its 100th anniversary with a mass flypast over Canberra – a rare and exciting opportunity to see a wide range of current and historic military aircraft.
More than 60 aircraft flew in waves over Lake Burley Griffin from 10:30am. The flypast culminated in a spectacular display by the Roulettes aerobatic team.
