Resources to commemorate Anzac Day

DVA has sent RSLs, schools and community groups across Australia a range of new and creative resources to support the commemoration of Anzac Day.

The Anzac Day mail-out facilitates learning about Australia’s military history and the sacrifices made by service personnel. It includes resources to commemorate this year’s centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force, along with resources to continue to remember the end of the Second World War, following national commemorations in 2020.

The mail-out includes posters, background information and educational questions for students, History in Focus cards, new commemoration-through-art activities for students, videos of veterans’ views and experiences, digital books about Anzac Day, and remarkable stories of Australians during war.

These tools will assist schools and community groups in observing Anzac Day and honouring all those who have served in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

All resources are free and available to download on the Anzac Portal.
