Treating veterans and their families during Victoria’s Coronavirus pandemic

Information on treating veterans during the five day lockdown across Victoria.

The Victorian Government announced that effective from 11.59pm Friday, 12 February 2021 until 11.59pm Wednesday, 17 February 2021, Victoria is entering a five day lockdown.

During this time health providers in Victoria are encouraged to visit the DVA Website for information on treating veterans during Covid-19 including:

  • support services available to veterans during the pandemic, such as;
    • mental health,
    • access to prescriptions and pharmaceuticals and
    • shopping assistance;
  • how to claim for telehealth consultations; and
  • the Veterans’ Access Payment for General Practitioners.
