Thank you for your service

Year 4 students at Our Lady Good Counsel primary school in Forestville Sydney wrote heart-warming letters to the soldiers and nurses who served during the Second World War, in recognition of this year’s 75th anniversary of the war.

To acknowledge these beautiful letters, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) produced a booklet showcasing all 31 letters. A digital version is available below.

We thank the students and teachers who took the time to remind us all of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women in the Second World War.
