JobSeeker Payments

The JobSeeker payment is available for those seeking employment and who are aged from 22 to pension age including veterans and their families. (Youth Allowance is available to those aged under 22). It’s also for people who are sick or injured and can’t do their usual work or study for a short time.

Payments range from $510.80 to $790.10 a fortnight, depending on your situation.

The payment is subject to an income test.

From 27 April 2020, you can also receive the Coronavirus Supplement of $550 per fortnight in addition to these rates.
