A limited range of products enabling better self-management of diabetes is available, free of charge or at minimal cost, to those registered on the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS), an initiative of the Australian Government. These items are available from NDSS Access Points, most typically a local pharmacy. DVA will continue to pay all co-payments for NDSS products supplied to eligible clients.
Specialist (S) includes Endocrinologists, diabetologists and Paediatricians.
Registered Nurse(RN) includes Nurse Practitioner (diabetes).
