Rehabilitation
Our rehabilitation program supports eligible veterans with accepted service-related injuries or conditions through a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation. This program does not cover the cost of treatment.
To support veterans’ individualised needs, goals and capabilities, rehabilitation may include:
- medical management support
- psychosocial support
- vocational support.
Medical management support can involve:
- linking the veteran in with appropriate health care providers, including GPs
- coordinating medical appointments
- helping the veteran understand medical information.
The Non-Liability Rehabilitation program provides eligible veterans with access to social wellbeing and employment support without needing to have a compensation claim lodged with DVA.
