Event: 25th anniversary of Australian service in Timor-Leste remembered

This year marks twenty-five years since Australian peacekeepers deployed as part of International Force East Timor (INTERFET), and led by Australia’s General Sir Peter Cosgrove, AK, CVO, MC (Retd), it remains Australia's largest peacekeeping mission to date, and Australia’s largest overseas military deployment since the Vietnam War.
