Community nursing services overview
DVA funds approved Community Nursing (CN) providers to provide services to meet the clinical needs of eligible Veteran Card holders.
Community nursing services aim to enhance independence and health outcomes, helping people to stay at home.
The professionals that deliver these services include:
- registered nurses
- enrolled nurses
- personal care workers (also known as nursing support staff).
Become a community nursing provider
You may apply to become a DVA approved CN provider if you agree to the non-negotiable fee schedule and you meet the requirements of the:
- Community Nursing Terms and Conditions
- Notes for Community Nursing Providers (the Notes).
Providers may join at any time, self-certify their compliance, and can enter and exit at any time without prejudice (subject to accepting the Notes and Terms and Conditions, including the terms for withdrawal and termination).
DVA do not guarantee any level of business and will only pay for community nursing services you deliver to eligible clients.
To obtain the relevant details, you will need to register with AusTender via the AusTender website. Once you have registered and have access to the CNS16 Community Nursing Invitation, carefully read the following:
