A range of resources for community housing providers tailored to the needs of veterans experiencing homelessness was launched on the 13th February 2023 in a joint initiative by the Australian Government and the Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA).
The resources include a veteran homelessness toolkit which outlines risk and protective factors to veteran homelessness, service needs and available referral pathways, and how to tailor support for veterans and families.
The resources also set an industry standard for providing housing services to veterans.
