Consultation with the Health Sector

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) works in collaboration with the health sector to enhance veterans’ health policy and service delivery arrangements.  Health professional associations and individual providers are critical in supporting DVA’s mission “To support those who serve or have served in the defence of our nation…” by providing eligible persons and their dependents with access to health care services that promote early intervention, prevention and treatment.

The DVA provider engagement framework aims to support DVA’s collaborative relationship with the health sector, ensuring important strategic and operational conversations occur at the right time with the right business area.
